Free Presentation: Working with Affairs with Catriona Lightfoot

What do you think is important for Imago Therapists to know about working with Affairs?

Catriona Lightfoot will be presenting her Affair Recovery Model as a way of thinking about what really needs to be worked on to help clients on the path to relationship repair and healing. Catriona is an Accredited Social Worker from Queensland with nearly 30 years experience of working with individuals, families and communities. Since 2011, in the aftermath of her own affair recovery journey,  she has run her own private practice in Relationship Therapy with a specialty in affair recovery and children of affairs.

Catriona has used her lived experience and extensive training to create her own Affair Recovery Program and since 2014 has been using it, with great success, to help couples who want to repair their relationship, do the work and heal while creating an amazing relationship out of the devastation of relational trauma.  Her skill and expertise is informed by a blend of relationship theories and therapies having trained to the highest level in Gottman Therapy which she combines with Imago and a number of other relationship and trauma informed approaches.

Catriona also has a long history of supporting the development of Imago in Queensland and has completed the Couples, Singles and Parenting Workshops.
